Elections 2021

With the terms of two Directors expiring in 2021, the election of two Directors is required. This year, three candidates are running for election, two incumbents and an additional nominee.

The voting period will be open from March 1st to March 31st, 2021, with election results announced at our Annual General Meeting on April 21st, 2021.

2021 Nominees

Diane Lee Sousa, CPA, CMA - Incumbent

Diane Lee Sousa, Vice-Chair ECU Board of Directors

Diane was elected as Vice-Chair in September 2020 and has been a Board Member since 2012.

As a Founding Partner of Prophet Business Group (PBG), Diane has over 22 years of experience assisting businesses in increasing their productivity by implementing intelligent and efficient technological solutions. As a business owner, Diane was involved in all facets of the organization, giving her exceptional perspective into several challenges facing Manitoba businesses: competitiveness, profitability, and continued growth; skills Diane brings forward to Entegra’s Board.

Following two decades of leadership with PBG and the technology sector, Diane is now consulting for Exchange Income Corporation in their Shared Services Division, advising special projects relating to digital transformation. This career move has allowed Diane to invest more deeply in a life-long commitment to community and professional service, where her experience and intellect has impacted a variety of diverse organizations.

Diane is a graduate of the University of Manitoba, B.Comm.(Hons.), has obtained her CPA, CMA and currently sits on the Advisory Committee for CPA Canada in technology.


Ed Kolodziej - Incumbent

Ed Kolodziej, Secretary ECU's Board of Directors

Ed was elected to the Board of Directors by the membership in 1997.

Ed is an Accredited Assessor employed by the Province of Manitoba. Ed’s current role is as the District Supervisor for the Municipal Relations - Assessment Services Selkirk Branch office. Ed is responsible for managing and maintaining the assessment roll for 26 client municipalities valuing 91,000 property rolls each year. With over 20 years of assessment experience, Ed has inspected nearly 10,000 properties, gaining an extensive knowledge of the real estate market, and has appeared as an expert witness before many Board of Revision and Municipal Board hearings. Ed has also appeared before many Municipal councils to present Tax Impact Reports.

Ed is a graduate of the University of Winnipeg with an Economics Degree and has completed several professional certificate programs, including the Certificate in Public Sector Management and his AAM designation through the Association of Assessment Officers of Manitoba.

Ed loves running and has participated in the Manitoba Marathon Relay with friends and family for 20 years. He has never won a race, but that does not stop him from trying.

Ed and his wife Sofia have three teenage children, and they call North Winnipeg home.

Jonathan Singh

Ed Kolodziej, Secretary ECU's Board of Directors

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Jonathan Singh began his career studying business and commerce. He went on to work in the financial sector for 11 years and the hotel industry for 15 years. He started his career within the Power Financial Group of companies in the areas of client services, strategic initiatives, and product marketing. After leaving the financial industry, Jonathan pursued and owned many successful businesses in real estate, hotels, restaurants, and liquor importation.

Jonathan loves biking, cooking, travelling and values time with close family and friends. Fun fact about Jonathan: he regularly travels on a one-way ticket because of the flexibility it provides. You never know where your next adventure will lead.

Being a member of Entegra for 14 years, Jonathan knew he wanted to run for the Board the minute he received the call for nominations as he would like to be part of the future direction and growth of the Credit Union.
