Online Voting Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I find my member number? Expand/Collapse

Your member number can be located through Entegra’s mobile app under account details, or by logging into online banking; it will appear on the Account summary page as “Membership xxx” above Account Name.

When does the voting period begin? Expand/Collapse

Voting will be open from Monday, March 1 through Wednesday, March 31, 2021. Election results will be announced at the AGM, taking place on Wednesday, April 21.

How do I register to vote? Expand/Collapse

There is no registration required. Simply enter your member number and postal code to log in to the voting portal.

How do I access the online voting portal? Expand/Collapse

You’ll receive an email that includes a link to the voting portal once the voting period is open. You can also access it from the link on our homepage.

Who is eligible to vote? Expand/Collapse

All members of Entegra Credit Union, above the age of 18 are eligible to vote. Any corporations will be required to designate one voter to represent the corporation.

I have a personal and business account – how many times can I vote? Expand/Collapse

If you are the sole proprietor or a part of a partnership, you get one ballot. If your are the primary account owner for a corporation, you can vote once for your personal account, and once for the corporation.

Who is running in the election this year? Expand/Collapse

We have two incumbents running for re-election, and one additional nominee. More information on each on the candidates can be found on our Elections page.

I live outside of Winnipeg; can I still participate in the vote? Expand/Collapse

Yes. Because all voting is taking place online, you can submit your ballot from anywhere.

I don’t have computer access; can I use a proxy vote? Expand/Collapse

No. Our Credit Union bylaws state that members cannot appoint a proxy voter. If you need assistance with the online voting process, please contact us.

I just became a member of Entegra Credit Union. Can I still participate in the vote? Expand/Collapse

That depends. Our Credit Union bylaws state, memberships opened after the notice of our Annual General Meeting has been published are not eligible to vote. Memberships opened prior to this date can vote. Our Annual General Meeting notice will be published in the Winnipeg Free Press on March 17, 2021.

I am related to one of the candidates. Can I still vote for them? Expand/Collapse
