Diane Lee Sousa
Don was elected as Board Chair in September 2020 and has been a Board Member since 2017.
Born in Kamloops, British Columbia, Don moved to Manitoba at an early age. He studied economics and project management in Winnipeg and proceeded to work in the highly competitive business of vehicle rentals. Passionate about automobiles, commerce, and people, it was a genuine fit. With support from the business community, family, and friends, he moved into the Licensee/Franchisee environment with Budget Car and Truck Rental.
Don has been the President of the Manitoba Car and Truck Rental Association for the past seven years and a member of Entegra for the past 5 years. In addition to his business endeavours, he has been a member of several charitable organizations resulting in donations of tens of thousands to CancerCare Manitoba, among others.
Diane was elected as Vice-Chair in September 2020 and has been a Board Member since 2012.
As a Founding Partner of Prophet Business Group, Diane has over 22 years of experience assisting businesses to increase their productivity through implementing intelligent and efficient technological solutions. As a business owner Diane was involved in all facets of the organization, giving her exceptional perspective into several challenges facing Manitoba businesses: competitiveness, profitability, and continued growth; skills Diane brings forward to Entegra’s Board.
Diane has since sold Prophet and is currently working for Exchange Income Corporation in their Shared Services Division, assisting with special projects relating to Information Technology.
Diane is a graduate of the University of Manitoba, B.Comm.(Hons.), has obtained her CPA, CMA and currently sits on the Advisory Committee for CPA Canada in technology.
Diane and her husband Joe have two children.
Ed was elected by the membership to the Board in 1997.
Ed is an Accredited Assessor employed by the Province of Manitoba. Ed’s current role is as the District Supervisor for the Selkirk and Steinbach Property Assessment offices. Ed is responsible for managing and maintaining the assessment roll for 39 client municipalities valuing 142,000 property rolls each year. With almost 20 years of assessment experience, Ed has inspected nearly 10,000 properties, gaining an extensive knowledge of the real estate market, and has appeared as an expert witness before many Board of Revision and Municipal Board hearings. Ed has also appeared before many Municipal councils to present Tax Impact Reports.
Ed has a passion for middle distance running and participates in a number of races throughout the year.
Ed and his wife Sofia have three children.
Ed was elected to the Board in 1992 and served as President from April 2003 to April 2017.
Ed is currently semi-retired, after building Plezia Insurance from the ground up into the successful insurance brokerage, it is today. Early on in Ed's career, he worked for Credit Union Insurance Services as an Account Manager, where he managed the insurance needs of many Manitoba Credit Unions.
Ed and his wife Louise have three children and two grandchildren.
Sanjiv was elected to the Board in 2017.
As the true definition of an entrepreneur, Sanjiv possesses years of small business management experience. Sanjiv is co-owner of the Clay Oven restaurant, Vivo Liquor (in Alberta) and the President of Blis Media, a Computer software company.
Graduating from University in India, M.sc, IT, Sanjiv has over 20 years of experience in Information Technology Management. Sanjiv worked with Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries from 2008 – 2017. During his time at the commission, he held a variety of roles and led many IT projects to increase efficiency and improve the reliability of the computer systems.
Sanjiv and his wife Rajni have two children.
Gord was elected to the Board in 2020.
Born and raised in Winnipeg, Gord has a B.Sc. degree and M.B.A. from the University of Manitoba and held the professional accounting designation of FCPA, FCMA, prior to his retirement. Contributing back to the community, Gord was a Director of the CMA Manitoba Board, Director and Chair of the Board of Governors for St. John’s Ravenscourt School and Director and Chair of the Treasury Management Association of Canada (Manitoba Chapter) during his working career.
Having recently retired from eight years at Great-West Lifeco (GWL) as the Senior Vice President & Treasurer, Gord has an extensive background in international finance, investment banking, capital markets, governance and executive management. He started his career at Cargill Limited as Assistant Treasurer. From there, he joined The Canadian Wheat Board, where he worked for 16 years, the last six of those as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer. Prior to joining GWL, Gord was the Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer of Credit Union Central of Manitoba, managed his own financial consulting firm, and taught finance courses as a sessional lecturer at the University of Manitoba’s Asper School of Business.
Gord has two adult children, and his personal interests include playing the guitar, physical fitness, golfing and travel.
Ravinder was elected to the Board in 2020.
Ravinder Buttar is an accomplished real estate investor and developer, who has been a proud Winnipegger for over 24 years, originally making his way from India.
Establishing himself in the financing industry as a mortgage specialist and insurance adviser, Ravinder has worked with various organizations, including the Royal Bank of Canada.
As an emerging go-getter in India, he pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) and Export Management. Equipped with entrepreneurial acumen, Ravinder would then pave his way in Winnipeg, starting and managing several businesses, including that of limousines, taxis, restaurants, banquet halls, and retail clothing. All of which constitutes a professional career spanning nearly 30 years and counting.
Ravinder and his wife Ravinder Kaur not only share in having the same first name but also in the love of three children—all of whom have been raised with the same trailblazing creativity and forward-thinking persistence as their ambitious father.

Brent is a CPA, CMA, whose career in the credit union system spans over 30 years. Brent has worked in many varied roles in credit unions ranging from entry-level positions to now leading Entegra Credit Union as the Chief Executive Officer since April 2019.
Reporting directly to the Credit Union’s Board of Directors, Brent is responsible for developing the strategic direction and leadership of the Credit Union’s business operations. In addition to his work experiences, Brent has committed to lifelong learning and is a CPA, CMA, achieved the Certified Chief Executive (CCE) designation, is a Fellow of the Credit Union Institute of Canada, and graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Commerce Honors degree.
Brent has volunteered his time on various boards and committees, and in his personal time, has coached youth soccer for his two daughters.
Ernie is a CPA, CGA with many years experience working in the credit union system in Ontario. He spent four years as Vice-President of Finance and four years as President & CEO of Northern Lights Credit Union, now Alterna Savings.
After successfully leading Northern Lights Credit Union through a merger, Ernie left the credit union system and took on the role of Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Dryden, where he had worked until joining the Entegra team in April of 2018. Prior to entering the credit union system, Ernie gained years of progressive management experience from the Mining Sector as a Controller to Power Generation, working for conglomerate Siemens Power Generation.
Ernie’s role at Siemens began as a Cost/Project Controller working on projects all over North America/Denmark and evolved to Head of Finance of Renewable Energy.
Kerri Robertson, MMCCU, CFP, C.I.M., P.Mgr., C.Mgr. is passionate about co-operatives and has worked in the credit union sector for over 20 years. Prior to Entegra, she worked for nine years at CUMIS, a trusted insurance partner to credit unions, six years of which were spent as a Director for Western Canada, where she was responsible for driving talent management.
Preceding CUMIS, Kerri was a Branch Manager for Assante Financial Management, responsible for successfully leading the advisor and support team in sales, operations and compliance. She also worked in two credit unions for over a decade in a variety of wealth and lending roles with various teams.
Kerri has dedicated herself to lifelong learning. Most recently, she completed her Masters of Management of Credit Unions and Co-operatives (MMCCU) through Saint Mary’s University. She holds her Certified Financial Planning (CFP), Professional Managers (P.Mgr.) and Certificate in Management (CIM) designations.
